Tumor Board

As part of our multidisciplinary expert lung cancer care, we hold a Pulmonary Tumor Board meeting each week to discuss the treatment of individual lung cancer patients. A multitude of specialists comprise this board including: pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, interventional radiologists and clinical research coordinators. The pulmonary board provides accurate, efficient, and organized patient care with an expert panel of specialists all together. Through collaboration, we discover solutions and realizations that an individual specialist may not have considered. It is the interaction between these specialists that allows us to make personalized treatment plans for each patient and to expedite treatment. Our multidisciplinary approach offers highly comprehensive, coordinated cancer care for even the most complex cancers.
